Job summary

Aurizon is seeking an experienced asset management leader to provide strategic stewardship of the Central Queensland Coal Network's Electrical and Control Systems asset portfolio. Reporting to the Manager Asset Strategy & Data, you will develop lifecycle strategies, lead asset performance and risk management, and translate conditions into long-term investment decisions.

Qualifications

• High level of skill in delivery of business focused technical/professional engineering solutions that deliver commercial value.
• High level of interpersonal, written and communication, consultation and relationship management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of infrastructure operations, design, construction, maintenance and safety standards and specifications.
• High level of skill in leading and developing a team of professional engineers to achieve commercial, statutory, regulatory and policy obligations.
• High voltage electric traction infrastructure experience is considered desirable

• Lead and develop a specialist team, building capability and supporting the delivery of high-quality asset management outcomes.
• Shape engineering standards and drive safe, consistent and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement, evaluating emerging technologies to improve engineering, operational and business performance.
• Provide technical assurance, engineering quality and RPEQ certification under your direction
