Aurizon is seeking a senior rail infrastructure leader to drive performance across the Central Queensland Coal Network. You will lead capital renewal, maintenance programs and safety culture, empowering supervisors and frontline teams to deliver reliable outcomes while maintaining a strong safety focus.

You will develop capability, manage budgets, and coach leaders to sustain a high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

• Seasoned people leader with rail infra experience.
• Strong financial, cost control and budgeting experience.
• Proven experience in managing and developing teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed safety culture and coach teams.
• Schedule capital renewal and planned maintenance and inspections.
• Manage incident response for derailments and unplanned maintenance.
• Develop and lead multi-skilled/trade teams.
• Prepare and monitor budgets with cost control measures.
