Job summary

Great Southern Bank in Brisbane seeks an IAM Engineer to ensure the right people have the right access at the right time, helping Australians own their homes. You will design, implement and support IAM and PAM solutions (SailPoint, CyberArk), manage identity lifecycles, integrate apps, automate processes and strengthen access governance across our technology and business teams.

This role also involves working with AWS/Azure and modern authentication standards, with a focus on automation,

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing and supporting IAM and PAM solutions, ideally with SailPoint and CyberArk.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance and privileged access controls.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP and modern authentication technologies.
• Knowledge of federation and authentication standards including SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python or Java/BeanShell.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing and managing IAM and PAM solutions using SailPoint and CyberArk.
• Integrating business applications with identity platforms using modern authentication technologies.
• Building and automating identity lifecycle processes, including Joiner, Mover and Leaver workflows.
• Developing enterprise-wide identity governance controls, including birthright entitlements and privileged access management.
• Partnering with Technology, Cyber Security and business teams to strengthen access controls and reduce identity risks.
• Improving Great Southern Bank's IAM capabilities through automation and process optimisation.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex identity and access management issues.
• Managing non-human identities and third-party identity risks across the organisation.
