Job summary

Great Southern Bank in Brisbane seeks an IAM Engineer to safeguard access across the organisation. You will design, implement and operate IAM and PAM solutions, focusing on SailPoint and CyberArk, integrating apps and automating identity workflows.

You’ll collaborate with Technology, Cyber Security and business teams to strengthen controls, reduce identity risk and drive automation and continuous improvement in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing and supporting IAM and PAM solutions, ideally with SailPoint and CyberArk.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance and privileged access controls.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP and modern authentication technologies.
• Knowledge of federation and authentication standards (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python or Java/BeanShell.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration across technical and business teams.
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing and managing IAM and PAM solutions using SailPoint and CyberArk.
• Integrating business applications with identity platforms and modern authentication technologies.
• Building and automating identity lifecycle processes (Joiner, Mover, Leaver).
• Developing enterprise-wide identity governance controls and privileged access management.
• Partnering with Technology, Cyber Security and business teams to strengthen access controls.
• Supporting automation and process improvement across IAM capabilities.
• Troubleshooting complex IAM/AIM issues and non-human identities.
