Visy Recycling is seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid driver based out of Gibson Island depot, Brisbane. The role involves collecting recyclable materials from our customer network and delivering to Visy sites around Brisbane, with early 5am starts and long shifts.

You will perform pre-trip checks, maintain schedules, complete in-cab reports, and comply with fatigue and load restraint laws. A 5-year demerit history report is required.

Formación

• A valid HR Licence with minimum of 2 years’ recent Australian driving experience.
• Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
• Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Heavy Rigid rear lift waste collection vehicles delivering to Visy sites in Brisbane metro area.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.
• Ensure timely and efficient collections and delivery of materials per schedules.
• Accurately complete in-cab electronic reporting systems and required documentation.
• Comply with Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
