Job summary

Major Project Delivery Partner in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Environment, Health & Safety Manager to join the delivery team for a midrise residential development. The role focuses on strengthening site safety performance, ensuring compliance, and uplifting safety culture across multiple projects, with emphasis on formwork and structural works in a self-perform environment.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and leading a WHSO team, the role requires strategic thinking to drive

Qualifications

• Experience leading WHS on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of formwork and structural safety risks.
• Experience on mid-rise or complex construction projects.
• Familiar with Australian WHS legislation and site compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce WHS systems on site.
• Drive formwork safety standards across structural activities.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coach supervisors and trades to improve safety behaviours.
• Report safety performance, risks, and initiatives to project leadership.
