Job summary

KBR is seeking a Building Services Lead to head the QLD Building Services team in Brisbane and drive technical excellence across complex multidisciplinary projects.

You will mentor engineers, manage techncial work packages, engage with clients and authorities, and contribute to proposals while promoting a culture of safety, collaboration and high performance across Buildings and Infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering required with discipline in mechanical or related field.
• Chartered Engineer status (CPEng) or equivalent, or willing to obtain within six months.
• Extensive consulting/design experience in infrastructure, buildings, or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of engineers, designers and drafters.
• Provide technical leadership across complex building, transport, defence and infrastructure projects.
• Plan, coordinate and manage engineering work packages to meet scope, budget and schedule.
• Prepare, review and verify engineering designs, calculations, reports and specs.
• Manage project and proposal budgets within your area of responsibility.
• Coordinate stakeholders including clients, authorities and subconsultants.
• Support business development, proposals and client engagement initiatives.
• Promote continuous improvement and share best practices.
• Maintain compliance with quality management and governance processes.
• Foster a positive culture focused on safety, collaboration and high performance.
