Job summary

Talenza have been engaged by an Australian ASX listed company to find an AI Engineer for a greenfield AI implementation. This role sits at the intersection of Infrastructure, IT Operations, AI Development, Security and requires continuous innovation and process improvements to deliver reliable applications and resilient infrastructure.

This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Qualifications

• Hands-on design and building cloud-native platforms on AWS and GCP.
• Strong DevOps experience with IaC (Terraform), automation and CI/CD.
• Experience with containers, serverless architectures and observability.
• Experience with AI platforms, data pipelines or LLMs is advantageous.
• Security practices embedded into delivery pipelines (DevSecOps).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud-native platforms across AWS and GCP.
• Implement IaC, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop containerised and serverless solutions with strong observability.
• Support AI-driven platforms and data workflows in production.
• Collaborate with engineering, security and product teams.
