Job summary

Pro Talent in Brighton is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a dedicated payroll team. This office-based role will manage a varied client portfolio and handle end-to-end payroll processing.

You’ll work across weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and annual pay runs, ensuring statutory payments are accurate and compliant with HMRC rules while delivering excellent client support and year-end processes.

Qualifications

• Solid bureau or in-house payroll experience
• Confident with statutory payments and end-to-end processing
• Ability to handle client queries and act as the payroll go-to person

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end payroll for a diverse client base
• Process starters, leavers, and salary changes
• Administering SMP, SPP, SSP and other statutory payments
• Handle client queries and resolve them appropriately
• Ensure compliance with HMRC and current legislation
• Support year-end processes and P11D submissions
