Job summary

APG Workforce are currently seeking an experienced Bridge Worker to join a dynamic team based in Albion Park. This is a hands-on role working across bridge maintenance and construction projects, with significant time spent camping away from home.

You will be involved in the maintenance, repair and construction of bridge structures, working across concrete, timber and steel assets. The role requires strong practical skills, a safety mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team

Qualifications

• Experience in bridge or construction-related work.
• Valid Medium Rigid Vehicle Licence or higher.
• Current Construction Industry White Card.
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence (unrestricted).
• WOF (Worker on Foot) certification or eligibility.
• Willingness to obtain additional licences or tickets as required.
• Ability to obtain a Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and construct bridge structures across concrete, timber and steel assets.
• Demonstrate strong practical skills with a solid safety mindset.
• Work effectively within a team and across sites.
• Operate equipment; driving a Medium Rigid truck and other plant is encouraged.

About the Role

You will be involved in the maintenance, repair and construction of bridge structures, working across concrete, timber and steel assets. This role requires strong practical skills, a solid safety mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

The role undertakes a range of functions relating to maintaining timber, steel or concrete bridges, including assisting other trades. The role also operates a range of equipment or machinery and carries out advanced labouring. Ability to drive a Medium Ridged tipping truck and other plant items will be encouraged.

Essential Requirements

• Medium Rigid Vehicle Licence or above
• Relevant experience in bridge or construction related industry
• Current Construction Industry White Card
• Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence
• WOF (Worker on Foot)
• Willingness to obtain additional licences or tickets as required
• Ability to obtain a Police Check
