Job summary

APG Workforce is seeking an experienced Road Worker for a government sector assignment in Narrandera, NSW. Start ASAP. Pay rate $45.45 hourly plus Super. Hours are 8.5 per day, 76 per fortnight, with a 9 day fortnight structure. Duration initial 2 months with high likelihood of extension.

Tasks include routine maintenance, road pavement repairs, guard rails, signs, potholes, rubbish collection, and responding to call outs under supervision. White Card, WOF, TC/MR desirable, police check required.

Qualifications

• White Card required (construction induction)
• WOF (White Card) and TC or MR desirable
• Police check required
• Prior concrete work desirable
• Must be able to pass police check

The Role:

The role undertakes a range of duties to support the efficient construction and maintenance of road infrastructure within New South Wales.

Job Details:

• Perform a variety of routine and repetitive physical tasks using hand and power tools, and machines either as an individual or as part of a team following directions from the TL.
• Routine Maintenance Activities - Attend Call outs, Road Pavement Repairs, Guard Rail, Signs, TC, Pot Holes, Shoves, Guide Posts, Rubbish Collection.

Tickets/Licenses Required:

• White Card
• WOF
• C but MR or above is highly desired
• TC (or willing to obtain)
• Prior experience in concrete work is desirable but not essential
• Must be able to pass a police check
