Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a skilled project lead to manage bridge maintenance and construction across the North Coast region. You will lead a multi-skilled team, ensure timely delivery and compliance with WHS and environmental requirements, and drive quality outcomes for critical infrastructure projects.

The role requires trade qualifications or equivalent experience, a Construction Industry White Card, and a current NSW driver’s licence.

Qualifications

Trade qualifications or equivalent experience in civil construction.
Construction Industry White Card and NSW driver's licence (unrestricted).
Experience leading crews on bridge maintenance and construction projects.
Ability to analyse project, construction and contract documentation.
Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver bridge maintenance and construction work across projects.
Oversee a multi-skilled team within a specialised trade/engineering area.
Ensure work is completed on time, meets quality standards and project requirements.
Manage team performance to meet time, cost and quality targets.
Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation (WHS, environmental and quality reporting).
Identify and manage risks by analysing performance data and implementing effective solutions.
