Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an Engineer to support bridge engineering design, technical assessments and investigations with a focus on concrete durability and corrosion protection.

You will assess durability conditions and provide technical advice on long-term durability, repair materials and methodologies, to manage technical risk across projects.

You will develop and review concrete durability designs and documentation to ensure safe, sustainable outcomes for bridge and structural works.

Qualifications

• Analytical approach to researching technical issues and applying bridge standards.
• Knowledge of bridge materials, civil and structural engineering to provide technical advice.
• Familiar with Australian Standards relevant to bridges and durability.

Responsibilities

• Support bridge engineering design, technical assessments and investigations with a focus on concrete durability and corrosion protection.
• Assess bridge durability conditions and contribute technical advice on long-term durability, repair materials and methodologies.
