Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an Engineer to support bridge engineering design, technical assessments and investigations with a focus on concrete durability and corrosion protection.

You will assess durability conditions and provide technical advice on long-term durability, repair materials and methodologies, to manage technical risk across projects.

You will develop and review concrete durability designs and documentation to ensure safe, sustainable outcomes for bridge and structural works.

Qualifications

• Analytical approach to researching technical issues and applying bridge standards.
• Knowledge of bridge materials, civil and structural engineering to provide technical advice.
• Familiar with Australian Standards relevant to bridges and durability.

About you

You hold a relevant Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent overseas qualification, a valid Australian driver licence, and can travel and work outside normal hours.

You’re recognised for your analytical approach, skilled at researching technical issues and applying bridge standards, specifications and relevant Australian Standards.

You bring bridge materials, civil, and structural engineering knowledge to provide technical advice, evaluate solutions and support informed decision-making across infrastructure projects.
