Job summary

Park Hyatt Sydney is recruiting a friendly and detail-oriented Team Leader for The Dining Room breakfast service. You will assist the management, deliver exceptional guest service, and uphold elevated food and beverage standards in a luxury dining environment.

Role requires hands-on leadership in the Dining Room, seasoning guest experiences with wine knowledge and hospitality training, while coaching team members to excel in service excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven fine dining restaurant experience and qualification in food and beverage service training (diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Tourism management).
• 2 years minimum experience in a similar role and environment.
• Current NSW RSA License.
• Well rounded knowledge of wines and beverages, coffee making skills.
• Basic computer literacy in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Assistant Manager and Manager to ensure policies and procedures are executed.
• Provides exceptional guest service and handles inquiries and complaints courteously.
• Ensures that the food and beverage standards are implemented.
• Taking reservations, greeting customers and presenting menus and beverage list.
• Provide guests with beverage, dish and wine recommendations to complement meals.
• Taking orders and serving food and beverage professionally.
• Providing table service such as opening bottles, clearing tables, and refilling glasses.
• Collecting payments for sales using POS and cash register.
• Hands-on Team Leader, present in the Dining Room especially during busy periods.
• Nurtures and develops each team member through training and coaching.
