Job summary

Samsara Eco in the Canberra region (Jerrabomberra, NSW/ACT border) is seeking a Communications and Brand Manager to turn ideas into stories that drive real impact. You will craft content and communications that bring our mission, technology and people to life across brand, media, campaigns and internal channels.

This hands-on role sits in a fast-moving startup/scale-up and requires a proactive, collaborative communicator with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, PR or related field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
• 5–8 years' experience in communications, brand, PR or marketing.
• Experience in biotech, deep-tech or other innovation-led industries is highly regarded.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leadership, media and industry contacts.
• Proactive, collaborative, hands-on communicator able to drive initiatives from concept to delivery.
• Passionate about sustainability and purpose-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging content and communications across a range of channels, bringing Samsara Eco's mission, technology and impact to life.
• Support brand management and ensure messaging consistency, visual identity and storytelling.
• Assist with media relations, press releases, speaking opportunities and stakeholder communications.
• Create internal communications that keep teams informed, connected and engaged.
• Support campaigns, launches, events and industry conferences.
• Coordinate projects with internal teams and external partners, ensuring quality delivery and continuous improvement.
