Job description

Global Premium Fashion & Lifestyle Brand - Sydney

Altair Recruitment is partnering once again with a leading global fashion and lifestyle brand to appoint a Brand Analytics Manager into its growing team.

This is not a traditional reporting role.

Sitting within the Brand function and partnering closely with Marketing, eCommerce, Finance, Merchandising and senior leadership, you’ll take complex customer, marketing and commercial data and turn it into clear recommendations that influence what the business does next.

You might be looking at why a particular product or category is outperforming, understanding who the customer is, identifying an opportunity within a particular segment, assessing marketing effectiveness or helping determine where investment should be focused next.

The key is being able to move from data → insight → recommendation → action and connect analytics to genuine commercial outcomes.

What you’ll be doing
  • Analyse brand, customer and marketing performance to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Turn complex datasets into clear commercial insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with Brand and Marketing leadership to provide a holistic view of performance, customer behaviour and campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide a strategic analytics lens across customer acquisition, retention, product performance and brand growth.
  • Evaluate marketing effectiveness across channels and help optimise investment and performance.
  • Support strategic initiatives including campaign optimisation, channel investment decisions, annual planning, long-range planning and broader commercial projects.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, eCommerce, Merchandising, Finance and other teams to understand business challenges and identify opportunities through data.
  • Lead conversations around insights rather than simply presenting reporting.
  • Help build repeatable analytics frameworks and ways of working that improve how the wider business uses data to make decisions.
What we’re looking for

You’re likely already working in marketing analytics, customer insights, commercial analytics or a similar role and are ready to take greater ownership of the strategic conversation.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
  • Around 3–5+ years of relevant analytics experience, with enough depth to work independently and confidently challenge or recommend a course of action.
  • Experience within retail, fashion, beauty, luxury, FMCG or another consumer-led environment highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of customer, marketing and commercial performance.
  • Strong SQL capability and confidence working with sizeable datasets.
  • Experience with modern data environments such as Snowflake advantageous.
  • Experience with analytics and visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Exposure to marketing measurement approaches such as experimentation, attribution, brand health, marketing mix modelling or digital analytics would be valuable.
  • The ability to look beyond what happened and explain why it happened, what it means and what the business should do about it.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A curious and commercially minded approach, with the confidence to form a point of view backed by data.
  • An adaptable mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
Why apply?
  • Join a global premium fashion and lifestyle business with strong growth across the ANZ market.
  • Step into a role with real visibility and influence across Brand, Marketing, eCommerce, Finance and Merchandising.
  • Move beyond reporting and use analytics to shape commercial decisions, customer strategy and marketing investment.
  • Work closely with senior leaders while still having the autonomy to own your analysis and recommendations.
  • Be part of a collaborative, high-performing team with a strong focus on development, progression and upskilling.
  • Join at an exciting stage of growth, where data and insights are becoming increasingly important to how the business makes decisions.
  • Enjoy a supportive culture, strong employee benefits including bonuses, birthday leave and generous staff discounts.
