Reece Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Branch Technologies Manager to lead the team responsible for technology powering our branches, offices and distribution centres. This is a hands-on leadership role balancing day‑to‑day operations with future‑focused change.

You’ll lead senior technical specialists, uplift their engineering capability and partner across Reecetech to deliver reliable, scalable technology for branch teams.

• Manage vendor relationships, service reviews, reporting, budgets and continuous improvement.

Branch Technologies Manager

Behind our branch network is Reecetech — the technology and digital team creating the tools, platforms and systems that help our people work smarter and support our customers every day. We’re looking for a Branch Technologies Manager to lead the team responsible for the technology that powers our branches, offices and distribution centres.

This role owns operational excellence across end‑user devices, workforce identity, SaaS platforms, on‑site networking, telephony, mobile devices and the broader hardware estate — while also shaping the future roadmap for how technology can make our sites more efficient. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can balance reliable day‑to‑day operations with future‑focused change. You’ll lead a team of senior technical specialists, uplift their engineering capability, partner across Reecetech and the broader business, and work closely with key vendors to deliver technology that works brilliantly for branch teams.

What you’ll do

• Lead a team across systems administration, networking and end‑user computing.
• Own service quality and operational performance for branch technology across a large, distributed environment.
• Drive the team’s transition toward cloud‑native, automation‑first and infrastructure‑as‑code ways of working.
• Lead technology delivery for new branches, refurbishments, relocations, offices and distribution centres.
• Shape the device and site technology roadmap, including emerging hardware, peripherals, automation and branch efficiency initiatives.
• Manage operational vendor relationships, service reviews, reporting, budgets and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

• Experience leading technical teams in IT operations, ideally across multi‑site, branch, retail, trade, logistics or distributed environments.
• Strong understanding of endpoint management, identity, Microsoft 365, Intune, Jamf or equivalent tools.
• Practical experience with networking, telephony, device lifecycle management and vendor performance.
• Exposure to infrastructure‑as‑code, Git workflows, DevOps practices or a strong appetite to lead a team through that transition.
• Clear communication, commercial thinking and the ability to turn technical detail into practical business outcomes.
