Job summary

Neumann Steel is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for our Yarrabilba service centre in Queensland. You will lead daily sales and operations, drive high-quality customer service, and oversee stock, production, and logistics to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.

You will manage staff rosters, safety, and budgetary performance while maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers. The role offers ongoing training and career progression within a reputable family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a team to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Experience managing a high volume of stock and stock control systems.
• Strong budgeting, revenue forecasting and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sales and operations of the service centre.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Oversee production and logistics planning to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure security, maintenance, safe operation, and professional image of all branch assets.
• Manage rosters, time management, leave requests and performance coaching.
• Monitor monthly P&L reports and report variances against budgets.
• Coordinate external transport providers to meet safety procedures and legislation.
• Ensure stock is well managed with accurate receipting and regular stock takes.
