Job summary

Neumann Steel in Yarrabilba, QLD, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead daily sales and operations of the service centre. You will provide strong team leadership, ensure safe operations, and deliver high-quality customer service while optimising processes.

You will manage stock, budgets and P&L variances, coordinate transport and logistics, and drive staff performance with regular meetings and coaching.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a team to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Experience managing a high volume of stock.
• Demonstrated experience in stock management.
• High level of verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of proficiency in managing departmental budgets, revenue forecasting and financial reporting.
• Strong leadership acumen with HR best practises.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Pronto MRP experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day sales and operations of the service centre.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and supplier.
• Oversee production and logistics planning to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure security, maintenance, safe operation, and professional image of all branch assets.
• Facilitate human resource management to maintain staff rosters, time management, leave requests and coaching.
• Manage all workplace incidents and health concerns with effective follow-up.
• Conduct regular team meetings, inductions and interviews to match labour demand.
• Monitor monthly P&L reports and report variances against budgets.
• Manage external local transport providers for safe transport operations.
• Ensure stock is well managed with regular stock takes and variance reports.
