Job summary

Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia is seeking a Branch Manager to provide operational leadership across the Wonthaggi and Foster branches, ensuring safe, high-quality services while driving team performance and culture.

You will oversee Ambulance Attendants, Patient Transport Officers and volunteers, travel between sites, recruit and develop staff, and maintain strong community relationships with local health services and RFDS teams.

Qualifications

• Leadership and operational management experience across multi-site environments.
• Experience in healthcare, emergency services or community organisations advantageous.
• Strong people leadership including recruitment and development.
• Governance, compliance and WHS/OHS knowledge.
• Eligibility: reside within commuting distance, driving licence, right to work in Australia, required checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multi-site operations safely and efficiently.
• Provide people leadership, recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Ensure governance, risk management and incident processes are followed.
• Manage resources, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build stakeholder relationships with health services and RFDS teams; report to Regional Manager.
