Bendigo Bank in Victoria is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a local branch with a focus on strategic growth, customer experience, and community engagement. You will oversee coaching, lending activities, and operations to drive performance and service excellence.

You will work with the Community Bank board to strengthen local relationships and ensure compliant, efficient branch operations. This role requires hands-on leadership and a passion for investing in staff development.

About the Candidate

To succeed in this role, you’ll drive the branch’s growth through leadership, team coaching and business development. We’d love you to have:

• People leadership with the ability to develop, coach and manage staff performance
• Proven sales mentorship through implementing strategies to drive business
• Experience in residential and commercial lending (essential)
• Strong communication skills to deliver clear branch expectations
• Understanding of financial management, business acumen and risk framework
• The ability to drive operational efficiencies and maintain high standards of compliance
• High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations
• Knowledge of retail branch operations
