An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Branch Manager to take ownership of a well-established electrical wholesale branch in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who understands the electrical wholesale industry, knows how to build strong relationships with contractors and customers, and can drive both sales performance and day-to-day branch operations.

The Opportunity

As Branch Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the performance of the branch, leading an experienced team while continuing to grow the customer base and strengthen the branch's presence across the Western Melbourne market.

You'll have the autonomy to run the branch like your own business, backed by the resources and support of a successful and established organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the branch team
• Drive sales growth, profitability and overall branch performance
• Build and maintain relationships with electrical contractors and key customers
• Identify new business and growth opportunities within the local market
• Oversee internal sales, counter sales and branch operations
• Manage stock levels, purchasing and inventory performance

About You

• Previous experience within electrical wholesale or a closely related electrical industry
• Branch management, assistant branch management or senior sales experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and the contractor market
• Proven sales and business development capability
• Excellent leadership and people-management skills
• Commercial awareness with an understanding of margins and profitability
• Strong local relationships within Melbourne's electrical market highly regarded
• A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved across all areas of the branch
