The Eurobodalla Shire Council seeks a permanent, full‑time library professional to join the Library Services team in Batemans Bay. You will participate in the library leadership team and oversee and facilitate programs, staff and services in line with the Library Services Strategic Plan.
You will lead staff development, coordinate day‑to‑day operations and deliver engaging, inclusive public programs while maintaining high service standards for the community.
This is a permanent full-time role in the Library Services team, based at Batemans B ay. The successful candidate will be responsible for p articipating in the library leadership team and overseeing and facilitating programs, staff and services at the Batemans Bay library, in line with the Library Services Strategic Plan.
The starting salary for this position is $81,151.04perannum, plus 12% superannuation.

You are a qualified library professional with a passion for delivering engaging, inclusive programs and outstanding customer service. Experienced in community engagement, reader education and outreach, you enjoy connecting people with information, learning opportunities and library services. With strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for working with the public, you build positive relationships with customers, community groups and partner organisations.
You are an effective leader with experience supervising and developing staff, coordinating day-to-day operations and fostering a collaborative team environment. Organised, adaptable and solutions-focused, you can manage competing priorities while maintaining high service standards and driving innovative outcomes that benefit the community.
