Job summary

Bendigo Bank in Cygnet is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a high-impact, full-time team. You will own the strategic plan to gain market share in the local area and drive growth across leadership, commercial and operational responsibilities.

You will coach and develop your team, track KPIs, partner with the Community Bank board, and be the face of our brand in the community. A strong emphasis on customer experience and compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential and commercial lending (essential).
• Strong communication to deliver branch expectations.
• Understanding of financial management, risk framework and compliance.
• Ability to drive operational efficiencies and maintain high standards of compliance.
• Knowledge of retail branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and developing competencies in your team with focus on performance and career development.
• Lead KPI tracking, reporting and strategic plans for the branch.
• Collaborate with the Community Bank board to build relationships and represent the brand locally.
• Prioritise customer experience and be proactive in supporting branch needs.
• Provide on-the-job training and learning opportunities to staff.
• Support community engagement and events to grow the local footprint.
