Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment Group in Sydney is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a busy customer-facing location. You will coach a team of three consultants, own branch sales targets and actively drive customer experience and community engagement.

Ideal candidates will have proven leadership in retail or service sales, a strong track record of meeting KPIs, and the confidence to coach others. This hands-on role requires excellent communication and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading a retail, sales or customer service team.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Experience with consultative or needs-based selling.
• Confidence coaching and developing team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-first approach and commercial awareness.
• Ability to identify new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of three customer-facing consultants.
• Take ownership of branch sales targets and performance.
• Coach the team in consultative and needs-based selling.
• Personally engage with customers and support them at the counter.
• Build relationships with local businesses and community organisations.
• Represent the branch at local events, pop-ups and community initiatives.
• Develop opportunities to increase customer traffic and sales.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve complaints effectively.
• Ensure strong risk, compliance and operational standards are maintained.
• Create a positive, collaborative and high-performing branch environment.
