Job summary

HCF is seeking a Branch Manager in Melbourne to lead the branch’s business development, member acquisition, and service delivery. You will coach staff, manage operations and budgets, and drive customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets.

You will participate in weekend shifts on a rotating basis and support a diverse community, with strong emphasis on leadership and relationship building with local businesses and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a retail or member-facing environment.
• Track record of developing teams to meet service and sales goals.
• Strong planning, budgeting and branch-ops management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop membership growth strategies across Health, Life and Overseas insurances.
• Lead external activities and local area marketing to acquire new members.
• Ensure first-point resolution of member inquiries and complaints.
• Align branch resources with service needs within budget.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to drive performance.
• Propose improvements to sales workflows and distribution.
• Manage day-to-day branch operations and policies.
