Job summary

BEC + BRIDGE is seeking a Boutique Manager for our Claremont boutique. You will lead a collaborative team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive retail objectives, while modelling our values and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team in a fashion environment.
• Strong customer service orientation with ability to deliver memorable experiences.

• Confident with finance, rostering and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer relationships and nurture existing ones.
• Coach the team to apply our unique selling process with every customer.
• Host styling workshops and connect with customers around collection launches and major deliveries.
• Monitor financial costs, maintain budget controls and report on performance.
• Build rosters to meet sales versus salary budgets and approve timesheets promptly.
• Oversee stockroom operations and implement visual merchandising guidelines.

The role

As Boutique Manager at our Claremont boutique, you'll create a collaborative and driven environment focused on achieving our retail objectives, while supporting your team to deliver an exceptional and unique experience to every BEC + BRIDGE customer.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new customer relationships and nurture existing ones


• Coach the team to apply our unique selling process with every customer


• Host styling workshops and connect with customers around collection launches and major deliveries

Finance and budget management

• Monitor financial costs, maintain budget controls and report on performance


• Build rosters to meet sales versus salary budgets and approve timesheets promptly


• Manage boutique expenses in line with company guidelines

Team leadership and people

• Recruit, induct and develop your team, and support the State Manager with performance reviews


• Provide continuous training on policy, procedure and selling techniques


• Understand each team member's goals and help them work towards achieving them


• Foster succession planning and career growth

Stock and visual merchandising

• Oversee stockroom operations, deliveries and stocktakes


• Implement BB visual merchandising guidelines to optimise sales

Delegation and time management

• Prioritise daily, weekly and monthly tasks and delegate based on team strengths


• Ensure administrative reports and cash-handling procedures are always up to date
