Job summary

Australian Tax Advisors on the Gold Coast is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to work closely with our Senior Bookkeeper. You will handle BAS preparation, wage processing in Xero, and client communications in a dynamic firm environment.

You will gain exposure to diverse Australian clients, collaborate with directors, and grow within a mentorship-focused culture offering training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5 years BAS preparation experience.
• Xero experience.
• Strong client-facing communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly BAS for various entities including GST, PAYGW, FTC, tax instalments (income tax, FBT).
• Prepare wages (STP) and superannuation in Xero.
• Engage with clients via meetings, calls and emails; participate in monthly client catch-ups.
• Collaborate with team to resolve client issues and identify proactive improvements.
