Our external accountant will continue to provide tax and accounting advice and prepare relevant tax obligations. However, we need a bookkeeper who understands the accounting process well enough to ensure our records are accurate, reconciled and ready for our accountant.
Most importantly, we want someone who can give management a clear and current understanding of:
What has come in → What is expected in → What has gone out → What is due → What we've committed to → What tax obligations are coming up.
We are looking for someone proactive, experienced and financially switched-on who will take ownership of their area, identify issues and keep management informed rather than waiting to be asked.
