Job summary

Ku-Ring-Gai Neighbourhood Centre Ltd (KNC) in St Ives, NSW, is seeking a full-time bookkeeper to join our close-knit team, helping manage financial records and reporting.

You will handle invoicing, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and collaborate with staff and external accountants; experience with MYOB preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts administration or a similar finance/admin role
• Practical experience using MYOB
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, receivables and bank reconciliations
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills
• Confidence in working with financial reports
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping, invoicing and bank reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate financial records and reports, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Managing tasks, deadlines and following up on outstanding work
• Coordinating with staff, suppliers, accountants and external contractors
• Preparing clear reports
• Following existing processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

Ku-Ring-Gai Neighbourhood Centre Ltd (KNC) is seeking a full-time bookkeeper to join their team in St Ives, NSW. We are an aged care provider operating in St Ives for over 45 years. This is an excellent role for a detail-oriented, organised individual who enjoys working with numbers and as part of a close-knit team. As a bookkeeper you will play a vital role in the organisation's financial management and reporting, contributing to the overall success of KNC.

What you'll be doing:

• Bookkeeping, invoicing and bank reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate financial records and reports, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
