Ideal candidates have proven bookkeeping experience, strong numerical skills, and proficiency in MYOB. You will work with the finance team to ensure efficient processes and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
• Proficient in using MYOB.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and payroll.
• Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and other accounts on a regular basis.
• Generating financial reports and statements as required.
• Assisting with tax preparation and compliance.
• Superannuation and ADHOC.
• Providing administrative support to the finance team.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced Bookeeper to join our team in Sans Souci, NSW. This full-time role will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient bookkeeping services to support our growing construction business.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all transactions are properly recorded

Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and payroll

Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and other accounts on a regular basis

Generating financial reports and statements as required

Assisting with tax preparation and compliance

Superannuation and ADHOC

Providing administrative support to the finance team

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the construction industry
