Job summary

Bacena Capital in Sydney is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team at the Sydney office. You will provide essential accounting support, manage AP/AR, and maintain the general ledger, preparing Balance Sheets and P&L statements.

The role requires at least 3 years of accounting experience, proficiency with Xero and Oracle Netsuite, and strong organisational skills. This is a full-time, on-site position offering opportunities in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
• Ability to perform balance sheet, P&L, and journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Provide bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting support.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare Balance Sheet and P&L statements.
• Perform account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist with BAS lodgement and tax return preparation.
• Maintain general ledger and support consolidation.

• Familiar with Xero and Oracle Netsuite
• Abilities to do Bookkeeping, account reconciliations and tax return preparation.

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of experience in an Accounting, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Abilities to do Balance Sheet, P&L, Bookkeeping, account reconciliations, consolidation and tax return preparation.
