Job summary

A-Team Tax, a well-established accounting firm based in Varsity Lakes, QLD, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records and ensure accurate data entry and reconciliations while supporting the team with timely reporting.

In this full-time role, you will perform bank and ledger reconciliations, process payables and intercompany transfers, assist with month-end tasks and reporting, support IAS/BAS compliance, and handle payroll while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• Full Australian working rights essential
• Min. 3 years previous Bookkeeping experience essential
• Demonstrated proficiency with Xero
• Cert IV in Bookkeeping or similar essential
• High attention to detail and strong organisational and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Performing bank, credit card & general ledger reconciliations
• Processing accounts payable and intercompany transfers
• Assisting with month-end tasks, reporting & forecasts
• Supporting IAS/BAS preparation and ATO compliance obligations
• Processing payroll + ensuring regulatory compliance
• Managing client relationships
• Supporting the team with ad hoc accounting tasks

About the role

In this role, the Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial records & ensure accurate data entry/reconciliations, while supporting the team with timely reporting.
