Job summary

Next Level Consulting Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a meticulous bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting across multiple client entities. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate, timely bookkeeping and support higher-level accounting tasks when needed.

The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability and ownership, with a relaxed, high-trust culture. Expect daily Xero work, payroll duties, and the potential for hybrid work after a successful ramp-up.

About the role
Working across approximately three to four related businesses, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping while assisting with higher-level accounting functions where required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Daily bookkeeping using Xero
• Payroll processing
• Bank reconciliations
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Processing journals and assisting with month-end requirements
• Following up outstanding invoices, receipts and supporting documentation
• Liaising with managers and suppliers
• General finance administration

Millions of dollars move through the accounts, so attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
We're looking for someone who:

• Has payroll experience
• Understands accounting journals and basic accounting principles
• Is organised and highly accurate
• Is comfortable following people up when documentation is outstanding
• Communicates confidently with managers and business owners
• Takes pride in producing accurate work
