Job summary

The Department of Health Tasmania is seeking a Booking Clerk Band 3 to support the Elective Surgery Waiting List and Theatre bookings. This fixed-term, part-time position offers pro rata salary and a range of entitlements, including superannuation contributions and salary packaging options.

You will provide high-level administrative support, liaising with internal and external customers, and work 60.8 hours per fortnight or 30.4 hours per fortnight, for 12 months with negotiation on start date.

The Team

The Team Provides efficient and quality business processes associated with the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) Elective Surgery Waiting List and Theatre bookings, utilising the Hospital Information System and communication with a wide spectrum of internal and external customers. Provides a high level of administrative and clerical support to the Unit using significant initiative and discretion. Details of Appointment

Multiple fixed term part time, day worker positions, working 60.8 hours per fortnight or 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date for 12 months. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary

• Salary $76,849 to $82,996 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025.
