JBS Australia in Queensland is recruiting an experienced Fabrication Foreperson (Boning Room) to lead the operations team. You will manage people, processes, safety, quality and compliance to deliver high-quality beef products.

Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, the role requires strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and production efficiency.

Formación

• Must have real meat industry experience and leadership exposure.
• Strong communication, delegation and interpersonal abilities.
• Solid knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and Food Safety/QA requirements.
• Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to stay composed in challenging situations while delivering service.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a large Fabrication Room team, ensuring a productive, engaged and safe workplace.
• Maintain relationships to support maximum production and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for fresh beef production.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet daily production needs.
• Verify competency of team members for assigned tasks.
• Supervise staff per company policies and code of conduct.
• Monitor cutting lines, packaging, and daily scale testing activities.
• Correct pre-operational hygiene findings before shift start.
• Promote a strong safety culture aligned with WHS training.
• Prepare and submit departmental production reports in a timely manner.
