Job summary

Randstad is recruiting a Boilermaker for a permanent position in Mount Isa, Queensland, with relocation support and a mentorship program. The role involves fabricating and repairing metal structures, interpreting drawings, and welding to high standards on 12-hour shift cycles.

The successful candidate will be trade qualified with experience in heavy fabrication, safe work practices, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Boilermaker with Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent.
• Proven heavy fabrication and welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding to a high standard.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Adhere to WHS policies and procedures.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
