Job summary

CrewSELECT Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Boilermakers for a busy structural steel workshop in Darra, Queensland. This workshop role offers $55/hr with penalties, guaranteed 40 hours per week and 1 RDO per month, with no site travel and an immediate start.

You will work from engineering drawings to fabricate heavy structural steel components, perform MIG and Stick welding, and contribute to safe, high‑quality workmanship. Potential for permanent full-time employment exists.

Qualifications

• Boilermaker trade qualification.
• Experience in heavy structural steel fabrication.
• Proficient MIG and Stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Weld test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steel frames, gantries and support structures.
• Fabricate steel poles and mounting structures and heavy plates.
• Produce high-quality MIG and Stick welds from engineering drawings.
• Maintain safety and workmanship standards on the workshop floor.
