Job summary

Goodpeople HR is seeking a Boilermaker / Sheetmetal Worker / Fabricator in Dandenong South, Melbourne. The role involves welding and fabricating for Food, Beverage, Plastics, and Pharmaceutical clients, using TIG and MIG processes. You will work predominantly in a workshop with some site duties in the south east.

Applicants must have permanent residency or AU/NZ citizenship; work visas alone are not eligible. Prior experience with guillotine and press brake machinery is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified welder/sheet metal fabrication with TIG & MIG welding experience
• Experience operating guillotine and press brake
• Polishing/finishing may be required
• Permanent position requiring AU/NZ citizenship or PR

Responsibilities

Seeking: Boilermaker / Sheetmetal worker: (South Eastern Suburbs)

• Working with Food, Beverage, Plastics and Pharmaceutical clients

• Qualified welder/sheet metal fabrication with TIG & MIG welding experience

• Skilled in the use of Guillotine, Press Brake and other sheet metal fabrication machinery

• Some polishing/finishing may be required

• Predominantly workshop based with some site work in the south east
