Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia are recruiting a Boilermaker to perform fixed plant maintenance at Nerang Quarry on the Gold Coast. This permanent full-time role offers 12-hour Mon-Fri shifts with a half-day Saturday and a base rate of $42.66 plus penalties.

The position involves MIG and Stick welding, fabrication, on-site and workshop work, and mandatory safety training. Applicants should have fixed plant background and relevant tickets.

Qualifications

• Crusher, screening, conveyor repairs (fixed plant maintenance background).
• Hold current Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications.
• Current First Aid Certificate. EWP, Dogging/Rigging.

Responsibilities

• MIG and Stick welding for fixed plant maintenance and repairs.
• Metal fabrication, cutting, grinding, drilling, etc.
• On-site and workshop work.
• Conduct risk assessments (including rescue & lift plans).
• Conduct routine fixed plant inspections.
