Job summary

Boral is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our Wellcamp Quarry Maintenance Team. The role is a Day Shift position reporting to the Quarry Manager, responsible for maintenance and repairs on fixed plant operations.

The ideal candidate holds a boilermaker trade certificate and is proficient with Stick and MIG welding, able to work independently or in a team. Quarry/mining background is advantageous; a current driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in fabrication or boilermaking.
• Experienced and competent with both Stick and Mig.
• Self-motivated and the ability to work in a team or independently.
• Site experience preferred but not essential.
• Quarry or Mining background would be an advantage.
• High attention to detail and quality of workmanship a must.
• Current Drivers’ Licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking and completion of scheduled maintenance, breakdowns and general repairs.
• Conducting thorough inspections of plant to identify potential issues and prevent future problems.
• Completion of all necessary paperwork - maintenance checklists, work orders, service reports.
