Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to perform maintenance on fixed plant equipment at our Nerang Quarry, located on the Gold Coast. This is a permanent full‑time role with overtime opportunities and a hands‑on focus on safety and reliability. Shift pattern is 12hr shifts Mon-Fri, plus a half day Saturday.

Base rate is AU$42.66, with penalties and allowances. MIG and Stick welding and fabrication work form part of the role, along with routine inspections and

Qualifications

• Trades qualification in fitter/boilermaker.
• Current drivers license.
• Zero Harm safety culture.
• Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications.
• First Aid, EWP and Dogging/Rigging are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• MIG and Stick welding on fixed plant maintenance and repairs.
• Fabrication, cutting, grinding, drilling and general metalwork.
• On-site and workshop maintenance activity with safety at the forefront.
• Conduct routine fixed plant inspections and risk assessments including rescue & lift plans.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure reliability and uptime.
