Job summary

Downer's Energy & Utilities is seeking casual Boilermakers for outage work at Kogan Creek Power Station in Brigalow, QLD. You will perform routine and reactive maintenance on plant equipment within an outage environment, including boiler pressure-part inspections, tube leaks, hanger alignment, and structural supports.

Roster is Monday to Saturday with Sundays off; ASAP start with end of September and ongoing outage opportunities. A supportive team culture focused on Zero Harm is provided.

Qualifications

• Driver's Licence
• White Card / Construction Induction
• Working at Heights & Confined Spaces within last 2 years
• Gas Test Atmospheres & Confined Space Entry - highly regarded
• Hand tools and equipment experience for tasks

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in outage environment performing routine and reactive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Carry out boiler pressure-part inspections including tube leaks, hanger alignment, and structural supports.

You will provide your expertise within an outage environment performingroutine and reactive maintenanceon plant equipment. This will include boiler pressure-part inspections including tube leaks, hanger alignment, and structural supports. This is a casual role, and successful candidates will join our casual pool for ongoing work opportunities.

About You

• Drivers Licence
• White Card / Construction Induction
• Working at Heights & Confined Spaces - both completed within last 2 years
• Gas Test Atmospheres and Advances Confined Space Entry - Highly regarded
• Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
