MFE in Toowoomba is seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our fabrication team on a full-time, permanent 5/2 roster, with casual options available. You will perform fabrication and welding work to high standards across multiple industries, contributing to quality, safety, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Boilermaking (minimum).
• Proven experience welding to piping and structural standards.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques (GTAW, FCAW, SMAW, GMAW).

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform fabrication and welding activities to required standards.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Follow LEAN and 5S principles to maintain an efficient and organised workspace.
• Complete relevant documentation, permits, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate effectively within a team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

About The Role

Due to continued growth, we’re seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our fabrication team in Toowoomba on a full-time, permanent 5/2 roster (or the option for casual if preferred).

Qualifications and Skills

• Certificate III in Boilermaking (minimum requirement)
• Proven experience welding to piping and structural standards
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques (GTAW, FCAW, SMAW, GMAW)
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
• Experience working within quality assurance and testing environments
• Strong safety mindset with experience in permits, JSEAs and procedure
• Forklift license (desirable).
