Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Boilermaker with tank refurbishment expertise to join a leading oil & gas company in Brisbane. You will work across site and workshop environments on high-spec projects, with immediate start available and a clear temp-to-perm pathway.

Brisbane-based candidates only; travel may be required for project work, with a strong safety culture and quality focus across multiple, ongoing Brisbane projects.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Boilermaker with heavy industrial/oil & gas exposure.
• Experience with tank refurbishment projects and piping systems.
• Ability to pass 6G pipe weld tests (GTAW/SMAW).
• Current Working at Heights, Confined Space and White Card.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Boilermakers, with tank experience to join a leading company in the oil & gas sector, working across both site and workshop environments in Brisbane.

This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity offering exposure to high-spec projects, modern equipment, and a strong pipeline of ongoing work. You’ll be joining a reputable team delivering quality outcomes across multiple projects.

Please note: This is not a FIFO role – Brisbane-based candidates only.

Key Responsibilitie

• High-spec welding (GTAW/SMAW) on piping systems
• Tank refurbishment and fabrication work
• Flux core welding
• Bolt-up and flange management
• Working to 100% X-ray quality standards
• Adhering to strict site safety and quality procedures

Requirements

• Trade qualified Boilermaker
• Proven experience in oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
• Experience with tank refurbishment projects
• Ability to pass 6G pipe weld tests (GTAW/SMAW)
• Current Working at Heights, Confined Space & White Card
• Valid driver’s licence
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen (DAS)
• Strong safety focus and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel for project work if required
