Job summary

Exhaust Control Industires – Salisbury QLD, is seeking two self-motivated Boilermaker/Sheetmetal Workers for mechanical installations. Based at our Salisbury workshop with site works to Southport and other locations.

The role focuses on installing equipment for large generators and requires reading drawings, bending and welding metal, and a strong attention to detail. Immediate start available; the successful candidates will join a stable, growing business with a permanent rate and travel/OT

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Boilermaker/Sheetmetal Worker/Welder.
• Reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings.
• Able to MIG and TIG weld Stainless steel.
• Diesel fuel systems installations knowledge is favourable.
• Strong communication and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install boiler and sheetmetal equipment at client sites.
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings to ensure precise fabrication.
• Weld stainless steel using MIG/TIG processes and inspect welds for quality.

Boilermaker/Sheetmetal Worker (x2) - Mechanical Installations

Immediate Start based at Salisbury workshop facility(QLD), with site works, specifically in Southport, (Gold Coast University hospital, and other.

We specialise in the installation equipment associated with large generators.

Seeking a self motivated, team orientated trades person

Includes:

• Trade Qualification, Boilermaker/Sheetmetal Worker/Welder
• Boiler making. Small bore to 600NB
• Sheet metal experience is highly regarded.
• Reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings
• Able to Mig and Tig weld Stainless steel
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to solve problems.
• Power Generation installations knowledge – favourable.
• Mechanical building services or water treatment plant experiences.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Installation of diesel fuel systems incorporating bulk tanks
  (both above ground and underground), day tanks and fuel delivery systems.
• Acoustics treatment and attenuation.
• Industry induction card – Blue , white/ other.
• Other industry licences highly favourable
