Job summary

Volvo Group Australia is seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our Wacol workshop team. You will perform repairs and fabrication on heavy vehicles and components, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities include repairs to specs, working with heavy vehicle components, accurate documentation, and contributing to a collaborative, quality-driven workshop culture.

Qualifications

  • Boilermaker qualification or trade certificate.
  • Experience with heavy vehicles a plus.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
  • Basic computer skills and experience completing workshop documentation.
  • Reliable, flexible and willing to adapt to changing workshop priorities.
  • Professional, honest and supportive approach to colleagues and customers.
  • Experience working with heavy vehicles or equipment will be highly regarded.

What you will do

We are looking for a qualified Boilermaker to join our Wacol workshop team. In this hands-on role, you'll perform repairs and fabrication work on heavy vehicles and components while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards. You'll play an important role in keeping our customers on the road and our workshop operating at its best.


Key Responsibilities will include:



  • Carrying out repairs and fabrication work to manufacturer specifications

  • Working on heavy vehicle components and workshop equipment

  • Completing work accurately and efficiently to meet productivity targets

  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment

  • Recording job information and ensuring documentation is completed correctly
