Boilermakers and Welders wanted to join our highly experienced & professional Project Team servicing the maritime industry.

Full Time Permanent and Casual opportunities.

Hourly rate subject to skills & experience.

Far North Fabrication Pty Ltd with a fixed base of operation in Cairns Qld, is a family owned and operated Australian fabrication, ship repair and boat building business specialising in the construction, refit and maintenance of vessels for Defence, Commercial and Private sectors. Due to higher demand, we are seeking to recruit specialised skill sets for delivery of service and products into the Maritime industry.

We are looking for staff who are comfortable working locally but are also flexible to travel and work away from home at a variety of worksites nationally. Above award wages, penalties and living away from home allowance where applicable. Experience in the maritime industry, confined spaces, EWP and working at heights training also an advantage.

Position and rates are negotiable based on skill sets and experience, must be willing to perform overtime. These positions can lead to permanent work for the right people with ongoing skills training.

• Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings for trade related applicants.
