Job summary

Vault Minerals is seeking an experienced Bogger Operator for our Darlot site in WA. You will provide quality material movement using underground loaders, ensuring safe, efficient operations in alignment with site procedures and regulatory requirements.

The role requires minimum 2 years’ UG experience in bogger operations, a strong safety record, and a valid WA manual licence plus DGSC. FIFO 14:14 from Perth; salary paid fortnightly; career development opportunities and referral incentives are

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in underground operations operating an underground machinery such as a bogger.
• Proven safe underground mining practices.
• Minimum 12 months tele-remote experience.
• WA Driver’s Licence (manual C Class).
• Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC).

Responsibilities

• Operate underground loaders (boggers) to transport ore and waste to trucks and stockpiles.
• Record and submit shift reports and maintenance logs.
• Maintain bogger equipment cleanliness and perform minor troubleshooting.
• Perform secondary break duties and oversize material handling when required.
• Adhere to daily/weekly planned schedules and safety procedures.

The Bogger Operator is responsible for providing quality and timely material movement and loading services using underground loaders.

Darlot Site Overview:

With over a century of mining history, Darlot is a cornerstone operation of Vault Minerals Limited producing high-grade gold production. The Darlot mine is located about 900 km northeast of Perth and 121 km north of Leonora, in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.

The purpose of the position is to provide quality and timely material movement and loading services using mobile machinery; loader or bogger as instructed to ensure operational targets are met in a safe, environmentally compliant and efficient manner in alignment with Vault Minerals and operation specific quality procedures and statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Conduct basic mechanical maintenance checks to maximise machine uptime and productivity.
• Record and submit accurate shift reports, production records, and maintenance logs.
• Assist in maintaining bogger equipment cleanliness, upkeep, and minor troubleshooting during operations.
• Perform secondary break duties including handling oversize materials and conducting scaling activities when required.
• Operate underground loaders (boggers) to transport broken ore and waste materials to trucks, ore/waste passes, and designated stockpiles as instructed.
• Adhere to daily and weekly planned work schedules, ensuring tasks are completed within shift parameters.

About You:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in UG operations operating an underground machinery i.e. Bogger
• Extensive record of safe underground mining practices
• Minimum 12 months tele-remote experience
• WA Driver’s License (manual C Class)
• Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
